Dr. Mitch Williams
Mitch Williams, DPM
Dr. Williams, originally from Fort Worth and a graduate of the University of Arkansas. He joined Southwest Foot & Ankle Center in 2019. He graduated from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He trained at University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio during his last year of medical school. He did extensive work on diabetic wound are and limb salvage. In 2008, he completed a three-year surgical residency in reconstructive foot & ankle surgery at Presbyterian Hospital in Greensville, Texas while working with many physicians in the DFW metroplex.
Dr. Williams professional interest include all aspects of trauma and reconstructive forefoot, rearfoot and ankle surgery as well as sports medicine. His training includes bunion and flat foot correction as well as diabetic lime salvage and wound care. During his residency, he completed reconstructive rearfoot and ankle fellowship in Germany and Austria.
Dr. Williams is very pleased to be practicing back in his home town of Ft. Worth. He prides himself on his patient-doctor communication, compassion and patient education. Dr. Williams enjoys watching college sports, snow-skiing, and competing in triathlons. He lives with his wife a teacher and daughter in Ft. Worth.
